JOY THIGPEN & STYLED WEDDING VENDORS

Joy Thigpen was the mastermind behind the beautiful styled wedding shoot in Atlanta, and she and her team did such a terrific job. Her style is very elegant, yet she makes it look completely effortless. She also adds unique twists and unexpected elements...like the stunning purple artichokes used for the floral arrangements. Genius!

Joy has got such an incredible vision and is able to execute her ideas flawlessly. I don't share her gift of being able to style amazing events (I wish!), but I do love to check out her blog and website often for ideas. Her inspiration boards are particularly wonderful! The other vendors from the day were equally fabulous. Makeup was done by artist Lauren Bricken. She is top notch and worked with Susanna and Kenny (our good lookin' models) on their actual wedding day just over a year ago. You can see Susanna featured on Lauren's website! The invitations were done by Paisley Papers, the gowns game from Impressions Bridal and the shoot took place at Waters Mill, a really lovely venue nestled in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains. Waters Mill is not only great place for an event, but they also have on-site catering that is literally to die for. Rhonda Waters Sheppard (who's family has owned the property since the 1700's) created a meal for us that night that was absolutely out of this world! If you are ever in their neck of the woods you MUST stop in!
